Atlantic Film Festival Opening Night Gala: A Review
I went with Laura to the opening night of the 2011 Atlantic Film Festival on September 15th. We saw Roller Town, the hilarious Picnicface movie about a band of rapscallions who try to save a roller disco from evil video game pushers. Our friend Megan was there, and she came with us to the opening night gala.

The alcohol was expensive, of course, but there were chefs making FREE delicious sandwiches, of which I ate five. And the sandwiches were amazing. I was also happy to run into a few people I knew. I congratulated Bill Wood on his portrayal of a troll in Roller Town. And there were FREE delicious sandwiches.
When Rich Aucoin started playing his music, he brought a parachute out onto the dance floor, which brought me back to my elementary school gym days, when we would play with a parachute just like it. Did you guys play with parachutes in your elementary school gym classes? Did you guys have FREE delicious sandwiches?

We stayed until the lights came on and everyone had to leave.
Sandwiches: 4.8 out of a possible 5 lions with their heads ensconced in bandages.
Roller Town: 4 out of a possible 5 giraffes nodding in approval.
